Low Friction COP

Ares Industries proudly presents Low Friction COP, a unique copolyester filament designed specifically for applications that require reduced friction and wear resistance. By combining the well-known mechanical properties of COP with the self-lubricating properties of 10% PTFE (commonly known as Teflon), we have created a filament that offers superior tribological performance without sacrificing ease of printing, interlayer adhesion, impact strength, or thermal properties.

Low Friction COP is perfect for 3D printed components subjected to increased wear from friction and operating temperatures of up to 70°C. The excellent mechanical characteristics of this filament make it an ideal choice for sliding elements, gears, and other moving parts in machinery or devices that demand minimized friction and wear.
