Basic COP

Ares Industries introduces Basic COP, a copolyester filament that seamlessly combines the advantages of PLA and ABS while offering virtually zero shrinkage and low moisture absorption. Designed for FDM/FFF 3D printing, Basic COP maintains stable properties over a long lifespan, making it ideal for a wide variety of applications.

With excellent dimensional stability, Basic COP allows for the creation of 3D printed components with accurate dimensions, which is particularly important for projects that consist of multiple parts. When it comes to transparent Basic COP colors, a high content of the crystalline phase allows for a near transparency effect with only a few outer perimeters of additive manufactured items.

Basic COP's pellets and pigments are approved for contact with food, and the filament exhibits good creep resistance under constant load conditions. This results in a lower mechanical anisotropy in printed items, meaning that the mechanical properties differ less in every manufacturing direction when compared to other thermoplastics designed for 3D printing.
